The Outdoor Sportsman Coalition of California purpose is to raise money for restoring and maintain and enhance the resources the state of California has, and to encourage today’s youth to put down the electronics and grab a fishing rod.
Each year the OSCC host a trout derby at Lafayette Reservoir the Saturday of Earth Day weekend. The registration fees include the reservoir fishing card and a tri tip lunch, the best part about this event is every child who participate in the event goes home with a Fishing rod, That’s where Diablo Marine & Trailer Services come in.
Last year With the help of Big 5 Sporting Goods in Pacheco, Agra Tech INC we were able to get make sure every child had a fishing rod in 2012. We hope with the amazing donation for our vendors and other local business we can do the same if not better this year.
